The National Basketball Association (NBA, also known as the American Professional Basketball League, abbreviated as American Professional Basketball or American Professional Basketball) is a men’s professional basketball league in North America, consisting of 30 teams (29 in the United States and 1 in Canada), belonging to two conferences: the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference; Each league is made up of three divisions, each with five teams. The regular season is a round-robin format, with each team having to complete 82 games; The regular season ends in April, and the top six teams in each league will qualify directly for the upcoming playoffs, while the seventh through tenth places in each league will need to play in the play-offs to have a chance of making the playoffs. The playoffs will be played in a best-of-seven format, with a total of four rounds; The final round of the playoffs, also known as the Grand Finals, pits the champions of two leagues against each other for the NBA’s highest honor: the championship. Throughout the NBA season, the divisional champion will not have a trophy at the end of the regular season, only a pennant will be given to the winning team, but the league champion and championship will have a trophy and pennant.
